Workshops have been taking place for the Torres Strait Island Choral Project.  Here's a beautiful video taken by the Program Director, Erica Hart, on the way to Thursday Island for the March 5 and 6 rehearsals:

The team made its way to Horn Island for the March 6 rehearsal:

This week, we will be holding rehearsals on Yam (Iama) Island, Darnley (Erub) Island, Thursday Island, Horn Island, Mabuiag Island, and Hammond Island.  The combined choir of community members in these areas will culminate in a large-scale free concert on July 17 alongside five vocal soloists and the Queensland Youth Orchestra.
