Under the guidance of choral director Alison Rogers, the combined choir for Ailan Kores features community members from Thursday Island, Iama, Mabuiag, Hammond, Erub and Horn Islands and Bamaga on Cape York.  Here's a Twitter video posted by Alison showing us how she travel to these islands!  

Ailan Kores is a large-scale free concert on July 17th that will bring together a specially-formed community choir, five vocal soloists and the highly acclaimed Queensland Youth Orchestra for what is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
